Born in Argentina to a Spanish/Italian family, I travelled to Mexico when I was four, grew up there and around Central America, living in Costa Rica for a while.
Went back to Argentina and studied Spanish Language and Literature at University, where I also did a Graduate Course on Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and later another degree in Classics, as I loved languages and linguistics. Moved to the UK in 2004 to do a Masters Degree and then a Doctorate in Philology at Oxford University, which gave me great insights into languages, their structures, connections, use and fascinating history.
I have 20+ years experience teaching Spanish, Latin and Ancient Greek at Primary Schools Clubs, Secondary Schools (GCSE, A level), at University, and as a private tutor, teaching Business Spanish for several companies (UK and abroad), as well as to adults and casual learners, including home educated students. I have also taught several courses in the UK and abroad training teachers to develop their skills.
